disc/disc master cylnder help
I've read tons of threads on this and I want the wilwood setup but I don't wanna splurge for it. I've seen many people using mid 70 ' s vette master with 1" bore. I ran across this and like the way it looks and supposedly like the vette master.

I have 4 wheel disc and have been told I need 7/8 ,15/16 and 1" bore. I belive it's a matter of how you want the pedal to feel. I was just looking for thought on the above.

1" is stock for the trucks so that's what I would stay with if I had stock front disc calipers.
The bigger the bore, the more fluid that is mover per travel of the pedal. Bore size is changed depending on the fluid requirements of the brake components that are used. Conversely, the smaller bore requires the piston to be moved further to move the same amount of fluid. |
