98 to 93 Engine Swap
 

Hello everyone, I had a quick question that should be relatively easy to answer. I drive a 98 c1500 with a 4.3 and it was recently totaled. It has 235k miles on it, but a relatively fresh rebuild, and the drivetrain wasn't affected by the accident. I'm looking for a truck to put the engine in and found a good looking 93 on the cheap. Would an engine swap between the two be relatively simple?

No....you would have to make the whole electrical system independent. Call painless wiring and see what the say.
