rust bullet
does anyone know if rust bullet is any safer than por 15 ?

Re: rust bullet
Safer? You mean easier to get off your skin? I can't say I've tried it.

Re: rust bullet
looking at painting the roof of a generator shed in san diego, didn't want to go the respirator route

Re: rust bullet
Nope, just as nasty. Anything you spray you need to wear a respirator for. Not only for chemical exposure but also for particulate. You don't want that shtuff in your lungs.

Re: rust bullet
I've both sprayed and brushed rust bullet, using a ~new~and~fresh~ charcoal mask outdoors. It has QUITE an aroma to it.
Application Guidelines doesn't mention the need for a mask, but GHS SDS says it ~does~ contain a diisocyanate, and looks reasonably toxic. It sticks like a bugger to rusty metal, but flakes off in sheets from clean metal. |
Re: rust bullet
Check out Master Series coatings. It's made for applications like yours, but can also be used for automotive purposes.
