Front coil spring side up

Hi, I just installed 2" lowering springs on my 69 c10, after lowering, the right side is a good inch higher. I thought maybe I put the spring in upsdue down since the Belltech lettering on the spring was upside down. So I just flipped and put it down again and still an inch taller:smoke:
Looking at the spring it looks like one end is a bit smaller (tighter coil) than then the other. Mt question is: Which end goes up top, and should the spring have different ends?

Yes the springs in the lower notch just fine, confused.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks,
clay

Pigtail goes up, and there's a metal flange/cup in the upper spring mount that the spring wraps around. Look up inside your crossmember and you'll see what I mean...
