Radiator support mount problem

1 Attachment(s)
I'm replacing the cab mounts and radiator support mounts. All the nuts and bolts came off with no problems. When I try to lift the radiator support I cannot get any separation from the frame. I have placed the jack in several different locations with the same result. Am I missing a mount location? I have 4 cab mounts and 2 rad support mounts. Is there a specific spot to try and lift from?

The truck is a 64 c10, thanks in advance.

You may need to loosen the upper and lower inner fender bolts on drivers and passenger side. Just enought to allow you to slide new pieces in place.

you may have to drive that bolt up. try separating the washer and rubber from the bottom of the support first . it has all compressed into one blob and it is like the bolt is frozen in there

Another good idea, I have hit the bolt with a hammer ( lightly ) and put the jack under the bold and carefully lifted. Still won't budge. I'm going try your suggestion now.....back to the garage. Thanks

That was it ! Thanks ! Hard to believe that those 2 metal and 1 rubber washers would be so frozen together that they would hold the weight of the truck.

Thanks again
