95 g_m_c sierra
 

my buddy just bought a 95 g_m_c sierra and g_m_c sierra and it has the Slight stumble And hesitation when first excelerateing we have changed the EGR solenoid and a new EGR and it still drives The same way . now if we block The EGR It runs great but throws a ecu code / check engine light .. also with a connected it will surge at a cruise speed on the freeway ... but plug off the egr and it runs great ... what is this ? we will need to pass smog soon And wont with this issue :(

ok im so sorry for the way my post reads lol thats what i get for trying to use my stupid cell phone for it lol lesson learned :( but this is driving us both crazy . because as far as we can tell there is only 2 things that control the EGR system and thats the EGR it self and the solenoid so after buying both new how can this still be ?

check you pcv valve and the tube that goes to the manifold it could be plugged. had this issue on my 90 gmc it wasso full of carbon that is was causing pressure on the crank case to throw the egr off.
