Picked up a like new tailgate for my truck
 

Stopped in at a small swap meet today and found this real nice 77 gmc tailgate. It's had a repaint at one time but is super straight inside and out.

I was hauling scrap off one day in my 1987 GMC 3/4 ton and a guy was waiting for me to unload and he did not want to wait and he just happened to be dropping of a cherry mid 80s Chevy tailgate and he gave it to me , the scrap guy was not happy at all but I was .

I just got one too, from a '74 Custom Deluxe for our '74...very straight, with only two small dents, and one repaint too... $25 from the pick 'n pull. It's missing the taiga trim, but I don't care.

It was sold with my brothers 1991 V3500 crew cab years ago .
