Under the dash heater?
Has anyone converted to a newer style under the dash heater?
|
Re: Under the dash heater?
Currently installing Vintage ac/heat in my Suburban, done it before on several vehicles, nice stuff, fits great and works great. This is the first time I am using the factory GM compressor that came with my TBI engine and Vintage Air has an adapter to fit the compressor. No pic yet.

Re: Under the dash heater?
Yeah that's the problem I don't want a vintage ac system. Just a heater with a core under the dash.

Have you considered using a '60-'63 recirculating heater?

Re: Under the dash heater?
thusly?
http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m...h/IMG_8521.jpg mines an HVAC from an s10 and technically I patched in the section of firewall to let this happen, but still answers the letter of what you are asking. it worked so well I am going to do the same thing with my 49. |
