wiper motor park location

i just bought a new electric wiper motor and am having trouble with the park location . it is stopping about 45 degrees short of where it is suppossed to and the wipers go down before they go up. is there a way to adjust the park location without voiding the warranty?

Sounds like it was clocked wrong when it was assembled.
I'd return it.
