which harness ?
Gonna re-wire my 62 C10 short box and theres a lot of kits to use. Any recommendations ? Has anyone used Kwik wire 14 circuit its a good price

Re: which harness ?
I used American Autowire. There are tons of different options but I didn't want to turn the wiring into a project by having to add connectors and determining lengths. Everything is clearly labled every 5" or so on each wire. Plenty of circuits for future add ons and is 100% bolt on, no guess work.

Re: which harness ?
I purchased an engine harness from Brothers Truck Parts for my '64. It was completely plug and play right down to the original style (looked exact) plastic loom ties that press in to the holes on the inner fender. Great prices too.

Re: which harness ?
I used American auto wire on the 65 and have one here for the 66. Very nice setup.

Re: which harness ?
Add another vote for American autowire, I just used their kit to rewire my 65. I've never done any wiring and had it 95% done in a day and half. Very easy to use, and great quality. Nice to have the options to add upgrades.

Re: which harness ?
I use the speedway universL harness. Works great.

Re: which harness ?
I went with the classic update kit, 500560. (Works on 60-66 trucks I believe).

Re: which harness ?
I'm in the middle of wiring my '64 using an American Autowire Classic Update kit. So far, I like it a lot.
Your wiring kit choice depends on whether you plan to use all factory stuff and whether you want to use updated components. |

Re: which harness ?
I used Ron Francis and have absolutely no complaint. Lots of wire, well marked and thought out.

Re: which harness ?
I used factory harnesses from brothers, LMC, and forget where else...fits factory perfect, with right grommets, plugs, etc.
