15x10 Torque Thrust wheels or other?

I have now sold the 20" Rev 100 wheels on my -67 C10! Going to do the 5 stud axle swap in the rear and get rid of that 2" adapter, front is already done with drop-spindles and diskbrakeswap by previous owner!
So I am now searching for new wheels! Have been looking at American Racing TT 15x10 grey center and 3.75 Backspace! But Will they fit on my -67.
At the front I will go for 15x8!
How will the clearance to diskbrakes be at the front?

Truck is at the moment lowered 2" or 2.5 front and 5" in the rear, but will be 4/4.5 Front and 6" Rear!

Or is there other alternatives? And anyone who got pictures?

Consider something in between. 15's are hard to get a tall enough tire for. 20's are too big IMO, but 17's....

Here is my truck with Summit Legends. 17x8 4.5" bs front and 17x9 5" bs rear. Front tires are 235 55 17 and rears are 275 55 17 which is as big as will fit on a stepside with no bed mods. My 5 lug conversion has a wider '72 axle.

Same wheels I have on my 62 Unibody. I wont post a pic here since its a Ford (there are pics of it on the board in other areas) Such a timeless look. I'm thinking about painting my spokes a little bit of a darker grey.

As far as getting tires tall enough, that I don't understand, nothing wrong with a decent non rubber band sidewall.

Good looking truck! Do you know the BS on those wheels and what Tiresize do you have?

I have been thinking of 17" or 18" wheels too! But the wheels I really want in that size are quite expensive!

Yes, the 10s will fit with the right tire. Is your front dropped using spindles? I see people talk of tie rod end clearance with that but I've had good luck with it. you need a 70 series 15" tire to fill rear well out nicely. This truck is making it's way around here lately for various reasons. The stance and tire/wheel combo is timeless perfect. Here it is again:

Thanks for the compliments. The rear tires are 275/60/15 BFG, the fronts are 245/60/15 BFG. If I recall the rears and front are 4.75" bs. They were purchased from Summit Racing. I will double check the back spacing tho.

I think that wide 15" wheels, either steel or American Racing TT and with meatier tyres looks very good on a lowered C10! Get a little more Classic Look. Its never going to be a race truck, got other cars that I can do that with! :)
So I will do that first and maybe later go for 17" or 18"

The TT looks good with our trucks. So do old school Rally Wheels

15x10" on Torq thrusts on a 67 (68 bed). I've added 2" lowering blocks and the tires are 30" in back. Now the front tires are 27" on 15x8 and look a little better with less gap.

I ran these TTO's 15x 8.5 and 15 x 7.5 on my 67 a few years ago. My blazer was poised for takeoff in that pic!

Re: 15x10 Torque Thrust wheels or other?

15x8 rear & 15x7 front. Both have about the same back spacibg ...3.75" The front disk calipers fit fine and the wheels don't rub the LCA when I make a hard turn. If I had to do it over again I would go with 17" or 18" wheel with the right size meats. ... But I'm liken what I have now.

Here's some 15X10's on my 72.....5" back spacing. You should have the narrower rearend but I'm thinking you might need some more backspacing
