Tell me about BBC engine towers (perches)
 

I am planning on putting in a 454 Big Block into my coil suspension C20 this Spring and right now my C20 has a 350 Small Block, which it came with.

67 - 71 had 1 type of perch
72 had a different style of perch
73+ had a different style of perch

Do I need the 72 BBC perches or can I use squarebody perches as well?

Are the SBC and BBC perches and mounts the same for all Squarebody trucks?

I used these when I when from a 350 to a 402.

They worked well on mine. I did have to make a few mods to the fan shroud as we allowed the motor to slide forward instead of sliding the trany back.
