newbie with to many questions lol

Just entering into a driving project. 65 chevy, c10 8ft fleetside.
Looking to lower it a bit, was wondering what is the lowest I can go just doing springs and shocks. Nothing radical. Seems 2 or 3 inch would the ticket. I, m sure this questions is repeated constantly.
Anyway as soon as possible, I, ll post pictures.
All original montana truck. Let me know thanks, glad to join the fold

I went with 2-1/2 drop spindles with 3-inch lowering springs in the front and 5-inch lowering springs in the back without any issues.....64 Stepside

Thanks for quick answers. Not wanting to do spindle swap, was just wondering about spring and shock swap. Looks good now with the weak springs, anyway thanks again.

If you want any ride quality, I wouldn't do more than 2" springs in the front. I had 3" and it rode like crap. I swapped over to 1" springs and 2" dropped spindles and the ride was awesome!

Re: newbie with to many questions lol

The spindles will help with bump steer and correct the angle created by the lowering springs
