C10 air deflector

Has anyone bought and installed the Sherman brand C10 replacement Air deflector? I read of couple of reviews on amazon that said it didn't fit right. But the price is $26 vs 150-200 for NOS replacements.

This is for 81-87 C10's. GM OEM # 15569084.

If aftermarket is more within your budget, then I would at least stick to an online place that specializes in truck parts. For an example:

I bought the 4x4 with tow hooks version from LMC less than three years ago and it fit just fine.
Don't remember if it was aftermarket or OEM though?

The link to Classic Parts above says "Original GM" at $55, but when I search Rockauto with the OEM # above "15569084" they have a version for $14!

Yes, the $14 version is the aftermarket one. I'm just worried mostly about the fit. The air deflector on mine is all hacked up from having a bull bar installed.

Re: C10 air deflector

I bought 3 of the Rock Auto deflectors and all did not fit good. I had to drill new holes in order to bolt it up. Once installed, it doesn't look/fit like the oem one. I now need one for my '87 and am going to buy one from one of the other companies. FYI, the 3 I bought were for my '82. I kept breaking them on the snow banks and ice chunks in Wyoming (drove the truck year round).
