Steering column swap

I have a 1980 C10 2wd short box that's a simple "no frills" truck. Just a 250 engine, granny first 4speed trans, no power windows, nuthin'. I'm swapping in a 5.3L/4L60E combo. Also in the swap will be an '86 C10 tilt column, so that I have a shift lever (cheaper than going to Lokar). The question I have is about the cruise control wiring. Because I have a TAC module for my DBW system and the pedal assy. to go with it, I know I can direct wire from the cruise switch in the stalk. Having read a bazillion threads about cruise in DBW swaps I can more or less figure what wire goes where. The question is, is the switch from an '86 truck normally open or closed? That will dictate whether relays are required, or not. Thanks

Lee
