1965 k20 front leaf springs
So I am contemplating sending my springs to get the top leaf rebuilt and replaced because my top spring is arched. But my question is. Does anyone know of a company or shop local or in the mid west. That can offer replacements other than LMC Truck. Any help is appreciated. :metal: thanks

Or see if you can find a spring shop in your phone book?

This is what I was leaning towards. I honestly think that it is just the top leaf spring on the passenger side That's sagging or cracked. Hoping itd be an easy fix. I have a set of 4" lift spring I could toss on but really don't want it to much taller. I use all of my pickups for there intended use. And picking somthing up another 4" just sounds counter productive  not saying there's anything wrong with a tall truck. |

I think I'm going to yank them this weekend and sometime next week I'll bring them into a local shop. They seem to have good reviews. Spring works..think that's the name. We will see.

But seriously, go with a spring shop. The aftermarket 4" lift springs I bought are far too stiff. Eventually I plan to shackle flip the rear and have custom fronts made. Good luck! |

Hey Matt, Look up Betts Spring. They have been around forever also and I have used them a bunch of times form springs to custom U bolts while you wait. I think they may be in San Jo but they used to be in Oakland. Check em out. They do suspensions for a lot of big rigs and their quality is second to none in my book.

Re: 1965 k20 front leaf springs
I just found a guy this weekend literally who has ever part. I need to finish my truck...Ira just on a 65 k10. That beat up pretty bad. I'm wondering if he will trade parts so he can have my bad ones and some cash then he can still sell the truck like he wants with all of the original running gear I'll just have snagged the good parts haha its a long shot but worth a shot.

Hey Matt Ive got a set of fronts coming out of my 63 pretty soon if you're interested. They could use a cleaning / rebuild but aren't hooped by any means. Ive almost got all the parts for the 52" - 63" swap as of this weekend. Wont be using the original front springs.
