Suburban springs same as pickup?

I'm looking to replace the springs on my 68 sub and only see pickup stuff. I assume it's the same but should I expect a bit more drop than if it's going in a pickup. I'd like to put 5" drops in the rear and 3 or 4s up front- Sound ok to you all?

I believe rear pickup drop springs, when used in a Burb, will be lower than advertised for a pickup. Im not sure how much lower though. GMC Pauls sells Burb specific rear drop springs. If load capacity was not an issue I'd try a 3" truck spring and make up the difference with a block and longer U-bolts if needed.

Thanks Joe- pretty much what I was thinking. Anybody have a measurement - you used a 3" and got __"?
I hadn't thought of lowering blocks on a coil spring truck- is that a common way to do it?
Thanks again- Greg

Badass- Thanks Joe! (and TX)
I've been holding off ordering because I don't even know how much it's lowered currently and didnt want to change it too much but that's the perfect way to fine tune it. I appreciate it- Greg

Somewhere here on the board is a picture of rear drop springs for a truck vs rear drop springs for a burb. I took the pic but no longer have it on my computer ... maybe its in my gallery?

Anyway, the burb springs are much more stout than the truck springs.

Edit: Just looked, no picture in my gallery sorry
