Im new to this form and was looking for advice on what all you need to put dic brakes on front. ( I have a 73 1 ton a arms and spindles w/dic on them) also what do I need to change the rear duellys to solid rims and get rid of the split rims? The motor I have in truck is a 351 are these motors worth rebuilding when time comes or change it out?

I have a 68 3500 also and just recently swapped out the entire front crossmember and rear-end with donors I pulled out from a 79 Chevy.

I guess I am somewhat dense as I am not understanding what you are referring to when you say "it has splits on it". Do you mean "dual rear tires"?
Your first post you ask "what do I need to change the rear duellys to solid rims and get rid of the split rims?"
Split rims on these old trucks usually refers to the old style of rims that had a very dangerous ring around the outside at the bead. Hard to even find a tire shop that will touch those things anymore.

Just wondering exactly what you are meaning.

I was trying to shorten it up but I meant it has split rims I think it has 9/16 lug bolts on it which I was told if it did the solid duelly rims will woek.
