Brought the 468 home today from the engine builders. I threw that Offy t-ram base on there to cover up the lifter valley, but those are the valvecovers I'm going to use.

i'm always having problems of where to put my 383 too:rolleyes:
hey would a 383 go into a 79 gmc caballero, my little bro has one and is wanting a new engine it is as his is near shot anyway, you wanna sell it i am just west of fort worth
The exterior dimensions of a 383 are exactly the same as a 350, because a 383 is basically a 350 block with a 400 crank. Hope that helps.
BTW, superchevy, where do you buy gas? I think I want some stock in the oil company!
:D
My brother-in-law is in the oil and gas business, so I always tell him I'm helping to pay his mortgage! Actually, when I get Daisycutter finished up, I'm going to put a TPI set-up on the 383 and swap it into my '93 ext'ed cab. SC :bowtie: |
Those valve covers are sweet! That is gonna be an awesome truck.
Thanks Yukon Jack. They're Mickey Thompsons with Offy breathers...powdercoated wrinkle black with polished fins. They've got that retro look that I'm going after for the whole project.
