You are asking for a bearing retaining clip and locking ring which has me thinking that you are working on a tilt column, your pictured parts diagram is for a non-tilt column. I can supply the needed parts in OE used or even GM NOS, but would need to confirm if parts are for tilt/non-tilt (See pics). Do you have a lower 48 address to use for shipping? Mel :chevy:

Thanks for your reply Mel . I have a 71 Non tilt for now . Looking at your non tilt picture it's hard to see what may be missing from mine. My column has trouble with keeping lower bearing in the housing so it stays aligned and I'm having trouble keeping the steering wheel from pulling up out of the sleeve and therefore aside from being unsafe it doesn't cancel directions . So I think there are substandard parts involved or missing. Just looking at your non tilt photo doesn't immediately display any problems to me

Looks like you need a lower bearing & the big washer to start with.
