Glass Hood
 

Hi, having a terrible time finding a company that makes a 4-6 inch bolt on cowl hood for a 67 Chev C10.Does anyone know of anyone, saw a lot of 2 inch in glass or steel but would like a larger one, Thanks

Shakedown Racing in Lindale, Tx has what you need...just got a 6.5" race weight pin on hood & front bumper from him bout a month ago for my '71.

I'd like to see pics of the 6.5" cowl, was thinking 6" for my next hood to hopefully clear new planned setup.

I was going to recommend Shakedown. I didnt know if they had the hoods though. If they have a 69-72 maybe they have a 67-68

71Dragtruck its a 6" i dont know why i was thinking 6.5", just a guy thing i guess adding a .5" to everything we measure LOL! I get some pics tonight when I get home and post 'em up tommorow when i get to work.

Regan the hood is actually made by Unlimited, its got a couple unlimited stickers laminated to the underside of the hood. But i got it and my glass bumper from Ronnie @ Shakedown. They list race weight hoods for 67-68 as well in his catalog.

I'd like to see the underside of their 6" cowl hood that uses factory hinges at the back and pins in the front.
