Paint line

I have a 72 that I converted to swb. I had a guy do the paint and put the moldings on. I argued with the guy that the paint line and side moldings were too low in the rear. He basically told me that I was wrong but I still don't think so. Maybe you guys can help solve the argument.

This is my first post so I hope the images upload.

From one picture its hard to tell exactly where your stripe and the upper/belt molding are located. Generally the split is at the center of the taillight trim radius. Plus the upper/belt molding does curve down slightly along the side of the bed.

yes, paint guy was right. Several body shops have gooned this and the mistake is to put it too high. You're good to go. It IS kind of an optical illusion, but if you compare to factory pics, you'll see that what is "maintained" is the constant thickness of the white band, not the color bands, on a deluxe 2-tone.

Thank you for the input. I was concerned because I have not noticed the unevenness of the upper bed molding before. I've had the truck for nearly 30 years and it was my dads before that so I feel like I would have noticed before now. Maybe it is the new stance of the truck.
