Looking for a 1967 4x4 Upper Radiator Hose

I'm not having much luck finding a formed rad hose for a V8 engine. Does anyone make one for a 67? What was original from the factory was there a metal radiator tube of was it a rubber hose? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Did you check LMC? If you can't find one, you can get a universal one that bends wherever you need it to.

LMC lists one for 67-72 4X4 but I'm sure it's actually only for 68-72. My 67 has an oil filler tube on the intake so the thermostat housing shoots straight forward instead of at an angle. I've seen the flexible ones but am trying to restore it to original so am hoping to find one that is molded.

Give Wes a call. His is listed as a 68-72 but you never know.

Dayco lists a 70935 as a formed upper rad hose.
But, the buyers guide lists that it fits:
67, 70-71, 73-79 K10, K20 models
So that doesn't appear to be a good match.
If you have a local parts store that sells Dayco, maybe you could go take a look at it.

EDIT: A Gates 20543 is a 2wd application upper hose that looks correct as far as the shape and direction.
Which brings up the question... Didn't all 4x4 have the metal tube for an upper radiator hose?

Here's a link to a board member that makes them. I believe they came on all 67-72 4x4 trucks, but I'm not 100% sure if 67-68 did or not !

That link doesn't help. On a '67 intake, the oil fill tube is in the way.

...and he is restoring, which means he wants it as it was originally built.

The earliest SBCs had vertical radiators with center outlet, so the neck pointed stright forward. I've seen in '60s car applications, when radiators got side tanks, with angled neck that shoots past the oil fill, like this picture. I think it's the same neck:

Here is an older truck picture for reference. I'm thinking you would have a pipe:

Thank you for the pictures. That's exactly what I need. It looks like I will have to build something like the second pic. I might be able to run an angled thermostat housing with one of Wes's molded radiator hoses but I am still hoping to run the original style.

Anyone know if this part might possibly work? Didn't the 60-66 V8's all have the oil filler tube on the intake manifold?

Thanks for the picture. I forgot that the radiator on the 60-66's is smaller than the 67-72 so the link I posted won't work without some modification.

I have a small block 67 C10 with the engine in the 4X4 position. I found that a Gates 20868 hose fits perfectly.
