Headlamp bezel swap
 

I want to switch headlamp bezels during my build and use the ones that do not house the marker lamps like the ones on the left. Is it a simple swap?

You should be able to swap easily, but you will need the lower grille trim and possibly the upper as well. I've been looking to do the same to my 79 just don't want the plastic junk when it has the metal on it now.

I'm replacing it all anyway. Just wondering if the marker lamps will bolt up to the lower grille panel. I'm just gonna get the plastic parts for now and hopefully upgrade to NOS as time and budget allows.

If I remember correctly the marker lights are already bolted to the lower grille panel, but I haven't messed with mine since fall.

If I remember correctly the parking lenses are the same as long as the lenses do NOT have the chrome trim on 79 and 80. So going to the 73 to 78 bezels if you want the chrome trim around the park lenses you would need to change them to the chrome trim variant.

That's what mine looks like right now until I had the bezels and grille.
