7 or 9 passenger seating?

Are burbs with all three seats considered 7 passenger or 9? I cant remember if the second and third seat have two or three sets of seat belts.

Could it be 8?

They were marketed as 9 passenger with the optional seats for the rear.
Whether all 9 passengers would be comfortable, and safely belted in is a whole nother story...

Re: 7 or 9 passenger seating?

I really want a 65 or older (prefer older) 9 passenger wagon, but finding one has been crazy. I'm looking for a project, doesn't even have to have drivetrain. Prices have been ridiculous though.

On the other hands burbs are still a dime a dozen around here. I'm torn =( I need the room for all the grand kids, so I don't need to fit 9 adults.
