Wax coating on s10 frame ?
 

I remember reading somewhere about a wax coating on the chassis of the newer s10 frames.

Does anyone know or have a link that says what yr. they started using it on the frames?

All of the S10 frames are wax coated. GM started doing it in the mid 80's on all truck frames.
