1984 Seat Conversion

I want to convert my 1984 Fleetside Bench Seat to a "full Width" 40/20/40 seat.
In order to utilize the entire width of the cab the best conversion seat, that I found, would be from a 2000-2009 F250 Lariat front seat with integrated seat belts.

My question is has any one done this conversion (?)...and in particular, the mounting brackets (?).

I do have a welder and can fab up brackets that will be needed...."thank you" for any ADVICE & HELP that you pass along.....

Re: 1984 Seat Conversion

Wish my old phone was working my old mechanic actually did this on an 86 c10 can't remember how he had the brackets fabricated though. Fit was okay just not enough leg room for him driving but he's 6'5"...

Re: 1984 Seat Conversion

Thanks for the comeback.....I am 6'2" and that is one issue that I really didn't think about.

My current, brand new, bench seat gives me very comfortable leg room and I guess I just thought the 40/20/40 would be approximately the same.

I hope that someone on here has photos and ideas of a similar conversion.
