Question about CST radio knobs.
I have 2 CST parts trucks. Both are 67's.
What is the difference between the knobs shown below and the radios? CST #1 with AC http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/p...ictureid=21307 CST #2 without AC http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/p...ictureid=21309 |
Re: Question about CST radio knobs.
The second radio is the factory 67-72 truck AM radio with the CST knobs. The first appears to be a factory radio out of another vehicle

Re: Question about CST radio knobs.
I knew the second was factory with CST knobs, but I had never seen/noticed the knobs and radio in the first pic (CST #1).
Funny thing is, I have owned #1 since 1998 and #2 since 2001. Never noticed the difference until yesterday. I was hoping someone was going to tell me that was a 1 of 200 ever made Corvette 450hp radio and special 1 of 100 made all chrome knobs... and that someone wanted to give me "exactly my truck budget" amount of money for them. The knobs don't match any other knobs in either CST, truck #1 or #2 Did you notice the (possibly) factory glove box light? Re: Question about CST radio knobs.
Haha....wishful thinking there, those knobs look like the factory knobs on my 67 camaro, nothing special unfortunately.
The glove box light is factory, my 67 a/c truck has it in the same spot. If you want to part with either or both of the horn buttons let me know |
Re: Question about CST radio knobs.
Are there really any differences between CST radio knobs and a non-CST Radio knobs?

Re: Question about CST radio knobs.
CST knobs have an aluminum insert and a more intricate design
