Why dont I see more of these
all the hubcaps i see on our trucks are the more bowl type that don't cover the whole rim. Were these just not as common?

Re: Why dont I see more of these
I can't remember if that wheel cover was standard equipment on the Scottsdale level trim or if it was still an option with a cost. We sold a few of those to businesses with the full wheel covers, but the Rallye Rims were so inexpensive (I think less than 200 dollars) that most trucks ordered for stock were ordered with them. They really dressed up the lower trim level vehicles. Add the deluxe or chrome grill option and you got almost the same look as Silverado for a reasonable price. Chip.

Re: Why dont I see more of these
And remember in the 80s people liked to customize every truck and van on the road.So stock hubcaps would be the first time to go or they change to aftermarket wheels.

Re: Why dont I see more of these
Out west here they were the first things to come off. It was all about center caps and trim rings if one could not afford or didn't want mags.
