67 c10 speed warning dash
 

I was in a junk yard today and I seen a 67 c10 with a speed warning dash in it. I have never seen one before. What do you think would be a fair price to buy it. What all is needed to be removed from truck to make it usable. Thanks Jim

Grab the buzzer and wiring with it. Take the whole cluster of course... Depending on condition, a couple hundred is a good buy.

Did it have all the gauges or was it a three gauge set up? I had the three gauges in my 68 GMC with the speed warning. I would imagine that it is more rare, but way less desirable.

Grab it along with the wiring harness which is rare. Get anything they will let you have off of it. Doesn't matter if it's the three are full gauges. If you have a full gauge cluster now just add it to yours with a little moding.:chevy:

Never tell the yard that the cluster is rare. That makes the price go up. Just ask them how much for the cluster. Then go from there.

The guy at the junk yard pointed it out to me so he knows its rare. The dash is gauge dash but no tach. It also has seats that look like 3 bucket seats but the center seat back is lower. I couldn't bottom of the seat as there is a lot of stuff in the truck. I want to make him a fair offer on the speed warning dash. Thanks Jim

The buddy buckets should be worth 500 all day long unless they are trashed. Sounds like a loaded CST to me

I went back to the junk yard today. The guy doesn't seam to want sell the speed warning or seat. I offered him 400.00 for the seat and dash cluster and he said no. The seat covers are shot bottom seat foam was bad but the brackets look good. the truck is a CST but in bad shape. The CST door emblems are all pitted bad and the horn button is baked I looked at the spid V8 auto power steering and brakes speed warning that was about it. Thanks Jim

Dude... you just described a set of Buddy Buckets... those are 600.00 on the low side and 1500 on the high still needing covers...

Well I am working on a 70 blazer and don't need buddy buckets or the speed warning as I am going with fuel injected engine and cruise. I asked the guy about putting them on line he said I don't do computers. He is kind of a hoarder. I was going to buy a tilt steering column from him and he backed out because it was the only one he had. I did get some blazer seats console and blazer doors with soft ray glass from him. So if some one wants to make a real offer I can ask him but shipping would be out. You have to make an appointment and pick parts up with cash. I asked about posting his phone # he said no.
