Any interest in my custom adjustable anti-squat brackets?
I'm testing the waters here to see how much interest there might be in my adustable anti-squat brackets. I originally designed these for my pro-touring 69 to give me a lot of adjustment in each direction. I also wanted to make a bracket that would accept nascar style mono-ball style trailing arms so I made them slightly wider for this reason.
I can supply the spacers to use normal bushings. Brackets would come unpainted as pair. No bolts or hardware included other than the spacers. Asking $180 shipped in the continental U.S. Here are some pictures. http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k...ps9svrkngk.jpg http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k...psekm7p7yh.jpg http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k...psmhje1vbt.jpg http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k...psmanxcvbw.jpg |

Anti Bump squat.

I'm kind of surprised there is no interest in my brackets. Did I mention that using the top notch on the bracket sets the pinion angle very close to stock?

Re: Any interest in my custom adjustable anti-squat brackets?
Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but how does changing the pivot point of the trailing arms create an "anti-squat" effect?

Basically when you move the trailing arm mount up you increase the anti-squat and when you move it down you induce more squat. Here is a link to a good explanation of anti-squat vs squat. http://www.pro-touring.com/threads/1...-Squat-Physics |
