What radiator hose?
Hey everyone I was wondering if anyone could help me with a part number. I'm looking for an upper radiator hose for my 84 with a 350. One problem though i just did an intake swap and the new intake has a water neck that is angled instead of straight. (I can't change waternecks.. aluminum intake with old steel bolts that thing is stuck on there) I'm wondering if anyone has a part number for a hose that would work. thanks

I assume its angled towards the drivers side?

Re: What radiator hose?
My original '86 is angled toward the drivers side. How is yours different from stock? Is it more of a flatter style? If a stock style hose won't work then you may have to use one of those flex hoses that tend to put strain on the radiator. If this were my project as soon as I found a hose and got it running the thermostat would be frozen closed. Just my luck. I would fix it now.

Re: What radiator hose?
I just got one for my 85 Silverado it was a Dayco Length E code 71558. The hose is pretty flexible and I have the angled input.

Re: What radiator hose?
Try Dayco 81492 (flex hose) or Dayco D70932

The Rubber Dayco hoses are pretty flexible, but are still formed to fit the angle neck.

Re: What radiator hose?
You're going to want that neck to come off when the thermostat needs to be changed. :D

Re: What radiator hose?
You may have to do like I did when I went to buy a belt for my Vintage Air setup. I walked out of the parts house with 8 different belts to try. Found one that worked and took the rest back.
