What yr did chevy swap to metric PS hoses?
 

Searched couldn't find it swapping a76/77 motor 350 for an 83 six trying to get as much stuff rounded up can only have shop a couple days.

By looking at Rock Auto it seems 1980 was the first year for metric hoses.

What would one use to adapt from newer style power steering pump to old hoses?

The guys from oreillys here have a hydralic hose maker in the back and said they could take two hoses and make one but luckily mine was communist fittings on both ends.so I didn't need it done.

if I read right you can unscrew the the fitting out back pump and swap them I think its the same pump so I might take one of the 6 put on my new one thanks.
