Replace Floor Pan Without Removing Cab?
Probably a stupid question but could a guy replace the complete floor pan without removing the cab from the frame? I'm envisioning removing the box to give me some room and bracing the hell out of everything on the inside then supporting all four corners of the cab from underneath. Anyone try such a hairbrained idea? Any success?

Nsane is probably right but there is always some idiot that is going to go against the grain. That would be me and my buddy Ron...:).. Here is how we did it. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=490272 Not too detailed but you can see the bracing in some of the pics. Worked out great but it is not for the faint of heart...! LockDoc |
