Wheel trim rings

I have a 1957 3100 SB/SS with a 235 and a 3 speed. I recently ordered a set of 15" wheel trim rings from LMC. I checked with LMC and the order was correct however they will not go on. The spring that holds them on is too small. Does anyone know if there was more then one style wheel for this truck/year. It's a 6 lug wheel if it matters.

Are you sure they are original wheels? There are a *lot* of different wheels that will fit. Can you get a picture of the wheels?

Original 15 or 16" will be 16 x 5.

I don't have any pics of stock 15", I always had 16".
