Oh so tempting Craigslist Ad!
I'm kind of getting the impression that this guy just thinks he has an old beater pick up on his hands that he's trying to sell...just based on the way the ad reads anyway.
Has a 63 grill even though he says its a 62 (may have swapped it?), looks like a pretty good project at a great price. If I didn't already have a 62 SWB I'm working on..... http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/5079555144.html |
Re: Oh so tempting Craigslist Ad!
Hard to say....VIN would be the real way to identify. Has a gorgeous 63 aluminum grill, but also has orange park lamp lights which was 1st available on 63s. They could have been switched out though. No external emblems visible or mounting holes. Price seems right though and looks like a great project.
But definitely a 62-63 with the fawn interior. |
Re: Oh so tempting Craigslist Ad!
Has the single 63 master brake cylinder and no hole beside it .
Alternators started in 63. Custom Appearance Option Custom Comfort Option Custom Chrome Option Deluxe Heater 12 Bolt Diff? Coil and table front suspension? Something wrong with the radiator though, don't think that's original. I'd buy that in a second!! https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-P...2/image0-4.jpg https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-e...2/image0-3.jpg |

If I lived in the area I would hop on that in a heartbeat.

Re: Oh so tempting Craigslist Ad!
To bad it doesn't have the original engine. Or at least something cooler for that matter.
