1988 Chevy truck flares
 

Is there anyone that makes the exact flares with same mounting as the factory for a 1988 chevy 2500/3500 trucks. The flares appear to have a gloss black metallic finish to them? All the aftermarket flares that I have seen have the flat finish. Were the flares painted from the factory on the models above the base work truck. I would like to get away from painting them if I can they will just get all chipped up but also dont like the flat black plastic look either. Can you get the original style flares through gm yet?

Have your painter mix in a flex additive when he matches the color, standard procedure for painting plastic

I had a set of tape on flares on the 96. lasted a few years until the tape decided to stop holding. they looked OK but not OEM. they were also flat but left 'em that way. removed and sold 'em.
