Cleveland Ohio Newbie

Hi everyone.

I just bought a 1962 C10 SWB small window and I am in the process of putting it back together. Overall the truck is in good shape. It was taken apart by a previous owner to restore and he passed away. The last owner I got it from had never had the chance to start on it and had to get rid of it.

This forum so far is pretty impressive and has a ton of good information. I look forward to participating.

Thanks!

The link above didn't work. I'm guessing something happened when I linked from photobucket or they don't allow it anymore.

Anyways. Here's a pic of me and the truck the night I got it home. It was about 2:30 in the morning.

The truck showed up on a local shop's buy/sell/trade post on facebook on a sunday. My buddy tagged me and got ahold of me as soon as it popped up. I rented a trailer on Monday and picked it up that night.

From what I can tell everything is pretty much there.

The bed of the truck was full. They built a shelf under the hood and had the gas tank and radiator sitting under the hood. In he bed under he radiator, gas tank and hood was the windshield, rear window and side windows. The truck has been moved multiple times like this and somehow none of the glass broke.

This pic shows how everything was packed in the bed minus the hood, radiator and gas tank.
