91 6.2 diesel engine for parts
 

Pulling the 6.2 out of my crew cab and putting a cummins in. Figured i'd offer it here for parts before it goes for scrap. Still in truck and running at the moment but does have a bad head gasket or head. No antifreeze in the oil. Complete air cleaner to pan. Just keeping alt and ac compressor. $300obo pick up only

man, just bought a 3/4 that needs a 6.2.........thinking.............no I am going to stay with the plan, 454 TBI. sorry , there is just something about a 6.2/700r and that something is 26 MPG and no power!

If you decide to part it out before scrapping, let me know, I'd be interested in the injector pump, air filter box (don't need lid), and tach sensor if it has a tachometer.

Sounds good. Was this a running motor? I need this to replace a cracked one. If this one was cracked you would know if you've seen it run. Sucks in air causing start issues. It's only 20 buck but would be nice to know if you know.

The truck ran and drove fine. Would start up instantly. Just had a bad head gasket. My ebay id is dini8402 if you would like to see some feedback.

No, I trust you. Just had to ask. Many are cracked and if the truck came to you busted you wouldn't even know. When mine messed up I had to do the bleed-out routine anytime it sat a while. I rigged a different set-up with a spin-on for it but bleeding is messy. I've actually sold it to a guy in NH, just have to get it up there. I'd like to give this to him so he can change it back if he wants.

I desperately need the power steering mounting bracket (just broke mine), and I'm also interested in the injector pump, air filter box (don't need lid), and tach sensor if it has a tachometer.

Zaccaglin PM returned. Sorry for late response. Still have it. The injection pump is a newer reman. I'll do $150 shipped for pump, crossover pipe, power steering brackets, and air cleaner.

How much for all the cruise control componets and mounting hardware? Wanting to add cruise to a 6.2 that has never had it so need everything from the harness, vacuum lines, dash module with bracket and screws, brake pedal switches and under hood pieces and IP linkage.

I can only sell whats on the motor right now. I haven't got into the wiring yet.

Just so you know the wiring and vacuum lines are a separate little harness and not part of the factory main wiring harness. connections and linkage at the module on the intake and thru the fiewall to a black box module with bracket, brake switch, turn signal switch and a connector to the fuse box and ground.
