Relay or fusible link to protect computer?
 

So how many of you actually wired in the relays to protect the computer as shown on the LT1 site? Would fusible links work just as well on the alltime 12v and the 12v keyed wires? I am all wired up with no issues (runs, with throttle, relay on the fuel pump,charging etc.) but don't want to have any issues down the road. What do you think?

Are you talking about a Ignition Relay? If so, Yes...100%

Pm me your email address and I can send you a simple relay diagram for a standalone harness. Look at me YouTube vids of how it is laid out.

Actually the orange constant wire for the PCM is primarily used to retain power for fuel trim correction and obd2 code storage, it draws little current during operation a nod standby.

The PCM switched ignition current load is through the power transistors that growing out the coils and injector drivers, internally.
