93 C1500 parasitic battery drain, HELP!!!!!!!!

Ok, this thing is about to drive me bonkers. I'm normally an older truck guy, but I have chased my fair amount of wiring in this newer stuff.

Truck is a 1993 I bought for my daughter to drive, 92K miles, pretty well stock, 2WD 5.7/Auto Silverado, all the toys. Not much additional wiring with the exception of a wolf whistle ( taken out ). Anyway, this thing has a 1 Amp parasitic draw, and so far I have done the following, removed every fuse individually at the fuse box under the dash and checked draw, removed fuel pump fuse/relay and checked for draw, removed horn/cruise servo/ABS controller/wipers and checked for draw. I have removed the power wire and the control wire to the Alternator and checked for draw. I have separated the starter power wire from the key on ignition wire and the short is definitely in the wire leading to the ignition switch.

And yea, the light bulb was out of the hood and the doors are closed when I am checking current draw with my DVM........

What the heck could I be missing? Are there more fuses that I am missing?

Thanks for any help, I need a drink. :mm:

Unplug the wiring from the ignition switch and see if the draw is gone.
It is not that hard to do.
It is on the lower part of the steering column, pointing up.
