What's the difference with these 2 columns?

I am thinking the fawn one is 63 and the black one is 64-66, am I right.

I'm not sure personally. What I can add is my factory 63 auto column came in black and when I removed the 4 speed column from the 65 parts truck it was fawn.

There should be some numbers stamped on that housing.
