Not bad for EBay. I got one several years ago at the auto parts store for about $12. They are neat.

Sweet I love my wix blazer.. Would like to make a smaller twin to my real life 72.

I have one of the Ertl kits (same truck but not assembled). I bought it on e-bay for $14! I have painted it to match my truck and now I just need to install the lift and bigger tires (stolen from another model)

I could make mine a Jimmy by cannibalizing the 4-eyed grille from the AMC '68 GMC stepside kit. [I bought a '67 panel truck model but it's in 1/25th scale not 1/24th so my evil plot to replicate a '68 Chevy stepside by stealing the panel truck's grille was thwarted.] Where can I get scale 33x12.50R15s, though? Also did any of these kits come with a scale L6 engine?

Mine keeps taking a nose dive off of the computer desk!

'68Orange - mine doesn't have an engine. The hood doesn't open. There is some detail of a V8 on the bottom, but that is all.

Do they make a white 72'?

Crew Chief '72 Blazer

Here is one of the '71-'72 1/25th scale AMT kits sold back in the day. This is the one molded in yellow.

The Boondocker Blazer kit was molded in white and was very similar to the crew chief. Both were issued in the early 70's.

Monster '72 Blazer

This is another '71-'72 Blazer called the AMT Thundebolt II kit that was made in the late 80's. This one is hard to find.

Bouncytruck:

I know the Wix die-cast model has no way to display a scale motor. [Not w/o a lot of hard expert modeling] I was thinking of the '68 (GMC) stepside kit. The plastic AMT kits included opening hood and sometimes a choice of optional mills. Why not an L6? I have a Chevy 1/24 tailgate. I just need a '67-'68 chickenlips grille and I'll have a scale replica of my current project.
