Blazer with popup camper on craigslist
 

Morning all, for sale in Colorado Springs, '70 blazer with popup camper. Not mine just passing it on. I live in the Springs might go look at it... I believe this has been posted before.

After looking at those pictures, I would say that the camper is one made for a short bed pick up and not a Blazer. I say this because the camper looks too long, as it comes all the way up to the door glass, and it looks like the front wall may have been modified to make the "walk through". Others I have seen stop a few inches short of the door glass so that the half top can still be bolted to the bed behind the door. I just picked one up last weekend,and have started a new thread about it.

I believe it is correct for a blazer,it is a mid 70s version of a four wheel camper,i also see the cut out and the trim around the glass around the doors are correct also,this is a correct early four wheel camper.here is an example of one I seen recently, I have seen the older and own a newer 80's version

I stand corrected. It does look like the early versions relied on those wooden inserts around the door glass instead of a cutdown factory hardtop. Learn something new every day!

That's cool. Good luck with it. Not a bad price. Those may be rare now, but I remember all the K/5s, Broncos, and Scouts running around the Eastern Slope back in the '70s. Always wanted one.

I didn't want to tell this ahead of time, but I actually bought two from the guy. Got a VERY good deal on both of them, and wound up selling the camper topped one for what I paid for both, back in the midwest here.

I figure I'm in about 1500 for a pretty good condition 1971 blazer. I'll post pics later, I'm ecstatic about finally owning one!

Already looking for radio replacements as the AM radio isn't going to do it for me. :)

I sold the camper topped one for 5500, paid 6k for both.
