Where are you guys ordering your custom rims from?
Also, any good recommendations on where i can send my rear end to have it narrowed?

Thanks.

Re: Question about custom rims and narrowed rear ends.

I talked to both Schott Performance and Boze Alloys and ended up getting a set from Schott, both offer very nice wheels. My '69 C10 rear is narrowed 2", I had it done locally at a racing/fab shop (Shahan Racing in Cabot, AR). Just about any machine/fab shop should be able to do it. If you have any dedicated 4x4 or heavy duty 'spring/brake' shops they may be able to do it as well.

You wanting big rims? How wide you wanting you can fit 12 wide with 7 1/2 bs on the wider rear 70+ I have 12 wide with 6.5 bs on the 68 narrow rear. If your wanting big rims for cheap discount tire offers some 20x 12s with deep bs made by rino in the 5 on 5 bolt pattern with smaller or narrower rims to match for front. I thought about getting some but my rear axleshave been made with 5 on 4 3/4 bs.

You have any pics of your setup? Stock wheel houses or did you widen them some? Does anything rub?

I have not built the tubs yet but you need them to clear. You can run a mt 18.5 on these trucks with tubs only ( coil spring)

That's what had me wondering - you didn't mention cutting the tubs, which I know is mandatory to tuck a 12" wide wheel with a 345 section tire, because that's what I'm running too. Just wanted to make sure we were on the same page.

Yes, i want a big, wide rim with a HUGE lip. I want 7+ inches of rim lip. 12 inch rim. 15" rear tire. This build is the first one im doing where i want everything done that i have never done in past builds. I always just went the easy way. Not this time.
