When I was buying this truck the mirrors were off. The seller was throwing them out because he thought they were aftermarket.

The guy I bought mine from threw them out when he took the camper off a few years before I bought the truck. I really wish he hadn't

Mine were still on when I bought the rig. Listed on the SPID. Still there.

I love the little big truck mirrors on the right truck. BTW, GM called them RV JRs

I like them. They don't vibrate like the long stalk mirrors.

Need to paint my mirror heads white. At some point the originals were replaced with stainless aftermarket.

The SPID says it all. I stand corrected.

Don't kid yourself. The factory ones roar. I got used to it. And put a 40 watt amp booster in line from the AM/FM Cassette deck to the speakers.
No radio now, but I like the roar. It means the truck is running.

I have a set, but need new mirrors for them. I ought to dig them out for my new '67.

Any windshield shop can set you up for a very reasonable fee.

Doesn't sound very reasonable. I took mine in to Satellite Auto Glass. Maybe it was in the '90s-- when these were $5000 dollar trucks, not Hemmings $40,000 trucks -- and the fact that I can't remember the price means it must've been low. $20 1 new glass mirror and 2 gaskets.

Re: Let's see who's got JR RV Mirrors.

I work at a glass shop. Its a commercial shop. I've done a few mirror replacements it's ridiculous what we charge. Especially when there is an automotive glass shop around the corner that charges half the price and actually uses the gaskets

it was two years ago and when she told me that i wanted too point out the marking( i forget what it was at the bottom of the mirror)an ask her if they put that on there.

that was the biggest(most known) local glass place around. i gotta try a few of the smaller place.

i do believe i saw replacement mirrors in the ilse of a pep boys that would fit but they looked like plastic.

glad i dont need the gaskets that would've been another $80

i like the look of these mirrors they just "look" like truck mirrors...wait a minute they are truck mirrors;).

the screws on the bottom of the mirror mount on the door. are they just the pointed course thread 3/8 head screws?

i have the correct top ones but wasnt sure on the bottoms.

there sure is alot of small peices too these

sboris has "the truck" thats sweet.
