Question on the “budget” air kits

As the time gets closer to put air on my 1969 swb c10 the kits by BC fab and AZ Pro performance sure do catch my eye. I know Porterbuilt and ride tech are the nice kits but not wanting to sink that much in the suspension right now. The truck will only be driven around town on the weekends and wont be hauling or towing anything. Anyone had any luck with these kits around $1500 and below? I don’t want it to work for a couple months and then have problems etc. Any info would be great!

Most problems we see from air ride are from the person installing things wrong.I have never used bc fab but some like it,I do like and trust az pro performance fully they only carry the good stuff. Some mistakes people make are not using a air line cutter its 20 bucks and worth every penny.Or use electrical valves and try to use 2 valves for the front or back,With electrical valves you need 2 pre wheel one for up one for down. Some use manual valves which are easier but you gotta run more air lines inside your cab to it.

Shoot us an email and we can help you put a parts list together that will include quality parts and not break the bank.

Re: Question on the “budget” air kits

We would be glad to help put together a system that fits your specific needs and budget. Some air bag kits that offer a low price point, are missing some of the key parts to make it a complete, well functioning, suspension. We can always start you with the basic bags and brackets, knowing you can build from there, while using quality parts. There are just some things in air ride, that you don't want to cut corners on.

Being we have access to many different brands and products, we can really find something that works well for you.

You will see a large range of pricing for air management, but again, comes down to what features you want for what you will be doing with the truck. You go can from a simple manual valve, 1/4" line system and single compressor.... to a dual compressor, self-leveling system.

Feel free to call, PM or email with what you have in mind and can go from there. I am sure we can get a nice kit for the budget you have.

The old say "Cheap aint good, and good aint cheap" certainly applies to air suspension components. Google the vendor and see what the public thinks. You will be amazed.

We can put together kits similar to their kits, including the one for $1,099. There are some things I would include to make it a more well-rounded suspension, but can do something like that as a simple bag kit. We always try to put together complete systems, but can do something you can build form as well.

Just give us a call, email or PM and can put together something for you.
