WIW Not for profit, prospective buying as a non member?
I hope that made sense. I wanted to ask what a rolling '67 frame with banged up and rusty cab and front clip is worth. Not wanting to sell, im asking so i dont get burned. It has a title. No hood, no bed and no interior (As far as i can tell, still waiting to hear from Seller). If this is against forum rules, PLEASE tell me and close it. Thank you.

If you want to get accurate info....post up a quick pic.
The subjective nature of describing stuff causes everyone to be pretty conservative in their response....me included. With what you have listed here....definitely (way) under $1000. Again...post up a pic or two and your feedback will improve. My two bits. Coley |

I have no clue what it's really worth, I'm mainly buying for the title and cab and maybe some usable chassis and suspension parts. |

If that is a SWB frame/roller it is worth his asking price.

And that is where you are going to get differing opinions here on the board. You have your LWB fans and your SWB fans. Myself, I am a LWB fan and that posting wouldn't be worth anything to me except for sheet metal parts.
It is only worth what it is worth to you or any potential buyer. If you are a SWB fan and that is what you are looking for, my .02 is that it is a good deal. There is plenty of workable material there. You can always make an offer, most they can do is say no, then you negotiate. |
Re: WIW Not for profit, prospective buying as a non member?
The price is right if it's an original short bed.
Even if it is a long bed you could do worse. I would probably not go over $400 if L.B. and then only to cut it down to a short bed. Looks like you could build a truck out of that. |
Re: WIW Not for profit, prospective buying as a non member?
I think the price is a little high and my reasoning is this... If you see in the background the other 67-72 trucks, to me that means this one is scrap as it has more than likely been picked clean. Scrap here is $60/ton right now.

I can tell you the cab is a 67 (small window)
Front fenders are 68 (side marker lights/reflectors) Can has some rot low (unknown where else, cowl, above windshield, pillars, etc. This thing got picked clean and he's trying to maximize profits. Offer him $400 or walk away. |
