Rollpan?

Is there any type of hitch that can be mounted with a rollpan. I don't have the rollpan that flips down.

Any information?

won't a class 3 hitch work with one?
the roll pan just takes the place of the bumper....
mine don't go lower..where the recever would be

Is the hitch visible, or will it be hidden?

rage'nrat638 09-10-2003 08:11 PM

visible

Thanks for the information. I was just curious if a hitch would work.
Not crazy about it being seen, might look a little tacky. Oh well at least it will work.

buy a Hidden Hitch brand hitch, cut a hole in your pan, and buy a plate flip down bracket from Summit.

Checkout www.mar-k.com for hitches.

I have a pan and hidden hitch on mine. Can't really tell with this pic b/c I colored in where the license plate is.

there is the hidden style that mounts under the the truck and you use a flip up style lic plate holder. when hitck is off you can't even tell it's there.

This is an East Coast Customs fiberglass pan. I cut the ends of a Huskey 5000lb (Class IV?) hitch and welded it to the inside of the framerails. It serves as a bumper too, protecting my fuel cell. I just picked the flip down back from a local junkyard.
