Today I went to buy 4-67-72 trucks today from a very nice farmers son. Yes this is not one of the ones I bought but it's an awesome picture. His dad had passed and they were selling dozens of trucks. I saw this and had to stop for a picture. This truck had been there a loooong time. I just wanted to share the picture with you all.

I have seen that before....

As much as I love to see old things restored, I hate to see trees cut down.

Its a crazy thing. I've seen a few trees in trucks but that tree must be 8-10 years old or more!

Here's the 67 I'm getting.
There's 2- 69s a 1/2 ton and a 3/4 ton longhorn and a 72 plain Jane.
The longhorn is the most awful color combo... Red and blue. Heres also a few pics of the spies. I couldn't get pics of the trucks since there were crammed in buildings. I'll have them in a week or so.

I'd clean it up and landscape around it. Yard art.

If you need the truck, couldn't you just pop the front clip off and move the truck? No need to cut the tree down.

Re: You gotta see this truck

there used to be a paint and body shop back in the 90's that had several cars they would rotate in front of their shop with a tree growing through the engine compartment. they would pull the front clip and they torched the front crossmember out. then they would just push the car up to the tree, put the front clip back on and shovel some dirt into the engine compartment to hide the cut frame rails. I know they had a gremlin, a Camaro and a olds or buick 4dr.

Thats not really possible, you need to remove the front suspension too, the cross member would still prevent removal. Problem is, the tree would probably ruin the truck more when you cut it. Lol
This guy has sold 2 dozen trucks from the property already. I'm getting 4 and maybe a 5th. There is another 6-8 c-60 and up large trucks and at least a dozen 47-52s still laying around.
There must be 2 dozen differed cats and dog trucks still there too. It's very full out there and I keep finding more stuff laying around like 16.5x8.25 rims and 3/4 ton stainless caps! Stuff is everywhere and hidden under other stuff.
Il update some more pics next weekend.

Get back there and get as much as you can! Sounds like a goldmine!

I forgot about the front cross member for the 2wd trucks.

you would need to cut out a cross member but that would still be easier and better than cutting down the tree .you have to cut the tree down in small pieces or the tree would destroy the truck as it fell.

Now that I think about it, o realize I wasn't thinking! Lol I forgot there was a cross member up there. I had some brain flatulence.

That one has been there a while! I'm curious about the other trucks as well.
